This first collection was inspired by a question: how do I want folks to feel when they connect with my art?
My intention is to help folks slow down, and take a pause.
To notice details, ponder, and get curious.
To feel the energy of the painting: grounding, lifting, and making space.
Nowhere do I experience this more than by spending moments outdoors, engaging all my senses.
I hope it is a visual "breath of fresh air."
These works are being displayed at the Choice Bank Operations building adjacent to its main branch on 45th Street. The exhibit is through the ArtWORKS program with The Arts Partnership.
If you would like to view the works in person, please contact me to arrange a time!
All of these works are framed in hard or soft maple, and one is framed in cherry.
