How We Come Home
Re-membering begins in all sorts of ways. One way, I offer, is by getting to know your neighbors. Get to know the textures of your place—the soundscapes, smells, and visual changes over time. The beings who come and go in the landscape you call home. Get to know their names and their place in the web. Become familiar with the somatics—the physical attunement—to your landscape, with all senses engaged. Native wildflowers teach us about cycles and seasons, the time it takes to grow, bloom, and return to the earth. Birds teach us many things, through their language and behavior. The more you offer your heart-centered attention, the more the landscape opens up and re-animates before you.
That if we look and listen closely, we can hear our Earth Mother whisper, “You’re made of my elements and instincts, dear one.” Our earth bodies guide us back home to Her frequencies and perspectives.
And we are home.
Original Paintings
For art collectors & enthusiasts
Mini originals are one of my favorite seasonal offerings because they're versatile, lend themselves to creating a gallery wall or shelf, and make wonderful gifts.
Mini's are available in 8x8, 10x10, and 12x12, framed in hard maple. Each year, I create a handful, so these are limited.
If you're looking for something larger, shop all available original work below, and please don't hesitate to ask questions.
*An important note: several pieces will be featured in an upcoming exhibition at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, ND from January 31-July 5th 2026.
Fine Art Prints
For the art collectors & enthusiasts
These museum-quality canvas prints are from my open-edition print series. For each original series, I choose a few of my favorites to add to this collection. Available made-to-order rolled, stretched, or stretched and float framed like an original.
Head to the "ready to ship" section for a selection of small prints ideal for gifting.
Cutoff date for made-to-order and backordered items is Dec. 1st.
Wild Ink Sets
For the creatives in your life
These are unlike any medium you will ever find in an art store. Wild color, place-and-time-based color, is an experience and connection to our local landscape. Yes, color can be made from plants, metals, kitchen scraps, time, air, and patience.
This year's sets feature one "rainbow" set of 4, a "secondaries" set of 3, and the Curios pack of 3.
Easel Art Calendar
For those who mark time with beauty
Enjoy a new work of art every month and keep the small art prints at the end of the year. The 2026 calendar features the awe-inspiring day raptors and hilarious owls from my work this year.
Easels are handmade by Matthew, my craftsman husband, and wood stamped on the back.
These are one of my most popular items every year.
Cheers to 2026!
Modern Wall Calendar
For the ones who need more space and beauty
This 10×20 modern wall calendar provides the space you need to jot notes and mark time in a big and beautiful way. Each calendar features a raptor from this year’s series works, perforated to tear and keep as prints at the end of the year.
Each print is stamped with the bird’s name on the back. Gift a print, or keep and frame it on your desk, shelf, or gallery wall.
This year's style is new, with a variety of colors for each month and a spot to write a "monthly motto" or inspiring words.
Cheers to 2026!
Wild Ink Sketch
For the naturalist and more adventurous collector.
A mark of place and time, these sketches are created with ink made from regionally foraged and grown-from-seed plants with care. Each sketch is a unique connection to specific plants, minerals, and more, based on seasonal variables.
Bring some wild color into your home or gift one.
Art Stationery
For the writers
In this digital age, there’s still something special about a handwritten note. A thank you, a love note, or words of encouragement–these cards will help deliver your words with various beautiful prairie birds.
Each set is still printed on luxe recycled Mohawk loop paper, joined by recycled brown paper envelopes. The name of the bird is also written on the back of each card.
Two new sets joined the ranks: owls and the day raptors.
Happy writing!
Thanks for supporting creative work!
