Honoring the Journey + Sustainability
The truth about creativity and professional art business is this: evaluation/valuation of work is largely subjective; merit is subjective. Folks' ideas of what art is is subjective, cultural. The artist must balance personal valuation with objectivity, keep the inner critic at bay, and center what authentically brings joy in the practice.
As I curated the items for this offering, I was tempted to judge these works as somehow 'less-than.' I choose to honor my creative past, present, and future; nothing is wasted, and even the plants teach us that the seeds for tomorrow are carried in the mature plant of today.
You'll find a few categories of variously-sized works below. Some pieces were experimental, others part of a class, and others are pieces I need to let go of to make room in the studio. Some are framed, others are ready for a frame. Many prints being offered are 'second chance,' part of the proofing for my available fine are prints.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the pieces, how to frame/recommendations for frames, or even if you'd like something commissioned.
Now go find something beautiful!
I appreciate your support!

A word on proof prints:
In the spirit of sustainability and a long-range view, I am offering most of the prints created during the proofing for the five prints I now offer on my fine art print page. The proofing process takes time, attention to detail, trial and error, and expertise I did not have. I'm thankful to work with Su Legatt locally to create fine art prints on demand.
The proof prints have different tones, saturation levels, brightness, and some imperfections. Prints can also be their own 'thing,' and I wholeheartedly believe in the value they still offer. Thank you! Let me know if you have questions or wish to see them in person.
