Workshops
Where art and science high five
The workshops I offer are a product of a glorious mixture--endless curious inquiry, a both/and mentality, and a will to observe the magic of what simply is.
Workshops will be offered on a rotating basis as my capacity allows. I have others in mind to develop, including other skills and other age groups.
Please check back here or sign up for my email list to stay updated. Email me any inquiries. Thank you!
Crafting Wild Ink Workshop
Learn how to create color from natural elements, food waste, metals, and more. This is experimental color crafting.
Painting with Wild Ink Workshop
Take some time to play with experimental color. I will show you the ways of wild color while you create five small paintings.
Cancellation Policy
I take great care to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment. I value reciprocity and balance my capacity as a solo business owner/studio manager with your needs.
- If you are unable to attend a workshop, I ask that you cancel your registration at least 1 week prior to the scheduled date. This can be done by messaging me through Sawyer, emailing me at alicia@aliciahauffstudio.com, or texting me at 701-527-5063. You can either receive a full refund or be rescheduled for another workshop. You can also ask someone else to take your place in the workshop.
- I can host as few as 3 people, and as many as 12. If the minimum is not met within 72 hours of the workshop date, I will reschedule or fully refund.
- No-shows (no attendance on the day of the workshop and no notice of cancellation) will not be refunded.
- I understand emergencies and unforeseen circumstances happen! If you are unable to attend due an emergency, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss a solution.
Community Notes
The workshop area is located on the main floor level of the studio. It is a large C-shaped table with stools to sit, or folks can stand. There is ample parking just outside of the studio, including handicap parking spaces. Please email me with any questions about accommodations.
I also ask that the handouts I provide remain for your use only. While I hold the practice of naming and celebrating teachers and mentors whose work has impacted mine and whose I support, the handouts are my intellectual property and based on my direct years of experience. Please do not copy, distribute, sell, or otherwise share without my express permission.
I also value positive and constructive feedback. This can be comments during the workshop, via email, or Sawyer review. I am human and make mistakes! If there are any issues, please let me know directly.
